Rooted in Harlem,
Reaching the Nation

Thanksgiving in Harlem began as a neighborhood gathering on 125th Street, where residents, businesses, and faith communities came together to share warmth, a soulful environment, eats, music + fellowship. That first celebration sparked a simple idea: no one should face the cold season without warmth or a sense of community.

What started as a one-block effort has grown into a nationwide network that now delivers seasonal clothing, holiday meals, and year-round support in cities from New York to California, a testament to the power of community and the impact of collective action. We’re committed to helping neighbors in need by providing them with cozy, seasonal clothing essentials, including coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and thermal layers. We believe that everyone deserves to feel warm and comfortable, especially during the colder months. And while we’re at it, let’s also make sure to honor our Thanksgiving traditions by sharing a meal, no matter who we serve.
